I recently wrote about microbiome-mediated spread of the Mirid bug Apolygus lucorum. Hot on the heels of that discovery comes another - the microbiome of the invasive Linyphiid spider
Mermessus trilobatus does not contribute to its dispersal and spread.
Complicated, isn't it?
